INTEGRA TYPE-R SPOILER DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OEM AND OTHER?
How can you tell the difference between an OEM Integra Type R Spoiler and those that aren't. IS there a difference? Where can I find and buy OEM for not so expensive? ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME, SPARE THE BS THOUGH.
OEM means that it's actually made by Honda/Acura, a non-OEM spoiler can be virtually ANY aftermarket spoiler in existence. some are made from better quality materials and are actually designed to provide more downforce than the factory spoilers, but some are just plain cheap. they're made from cheap materials, are made more for looks than function, and it's honestly just a waste of cash.
either way, your car is front wheel drive. rear downforce really isn't an issue unless you're cornering at over 100mph. it really doesn't matter which you buy, as long as it looks good. i drive a DC2 Integra and it's probably the best car i've ever owned, i don't have a spoiler and don't feel the car needs one(even on track days).
