Epipen Carriers
What is an Epipen?
An Epipen is probably the most favoured automatic injector in the United States, including Canada, and also in the United Kingdom. It is a registered trademark which is owned by the manufacturers, DEY L.P. The injector is usually carried by those who suffer from severe allergic reactions, and is used for the treatment of anaphylactic shock. Allowing a standard dose of adrenaline (epinephrine) to be self-administered quickly and easily. Hence, many people find themselves in need of an Epipen carrier
Regulations
For children an Epipen Junior is available, which administers the recommended dosage for a child under, or around thirty kilos. Check the packaging for the exact dosage and weight recommendations. An adult dose is around double that of a child, so instructions should be adhered to. Carriers are available for adult and child injectors. In both the United states and the United Kingdom, the sale of the injector is regulated. In Canada they are available over the counter. However, the Epipen Carrier is widely available, and is not regulated in any way. You’ll find recommended suppliers of the carrier online, and prices are reasonable. A small price to pay to be safe, always having your injector close to hand.
Problems Solved
Some activities can make carrying the injectors around tricky. For instance, cycling or running, hiking and field trips, just about any athletic activity you can think of. Regardless of whether you are participating or watching the sport. Even a day at the zoo or an amusement park could end up in disaster. Ironically, it will usually be the times when you are most likely to need it. For students, just getting along with their daily campus routine can have its risks. Availability
There are various styles of Epipen Carriers available. Especially designed for children and adults, male and female, in mind. Some are discreetly strapped to the arm or leg. Good for activities and sports, a busy day out, concert or a party. Others look similar to a spectacles case or pen holder. Choose from bright and classic colouring, adult or child designs. Anything and everything, from flowers to robots! Most of the designs will carry two Epipens, and some are equipped to hold other necessities which might be required, should an emergency arise. Like a medical card or asthma inhaler.
