In case you are facing problems due to an ineffective wiper system, ask a qualified technician to inspect it. Motor repairs are quite common whereas most people prefer to replace the wiper blades every year. All this is done to avoid any untimely natural situations that compromise the drivers view. In order to avoid inconvenience caused by a recurring wiper-motor failure, it is always advisable to have it replaced.
A Wiper Motor is not a critical part of the automobile setup under normal conditions but it becomes one when conditions are not favorable for driving. Hence, it is extremely important to maintain a properly working motor and have it ready for that hour of need. A replacement wiper-motor can either be brand new, re-manufactured, aftermarket, a rebuilt one or perhaps a used one. Among these, brand new ones and used ones are manufactured by the company that has manufactured the vehicle. Hence, there is no question of them not working properly. In case of the other options, there may be issues with fitting and then with performance. For this reason, it is always advisable to go for OEM parts. Further, used OEM parts can be cheap while being effective. Going for used parts can ease the expenses by one-third. Now that really sounds like a good option.

You can compare prices online and have the desired part shipped to your doorstep without any hassles. In case of wiper motor, fitting a brand new one in an old car is wastage of precious money.
