The GIS industry is finding a new place among the other sectors. Trips to the claimed location are often tiring, expensive, and time consuming. Mapping out the general space is imperative to analyze, evade, and rectify any error, thus bettering the environment for a safe future. The mapping process involves the integration, editing, analysis, sharing and displaying of geospatial information using the technique of cartography and the database technology. GIS technologies use GIS tools and its application to develop various maps based on Land cover and use, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Forestry, Transportation, Tax parcel, etc. GIS Maps are used to create zoning plans for future development, determine environmental conditions, residential, industrial and commercial purpose, develop maps of cities and towns, etc.
The major GIS Mapping service providers enable companies to plan, design, manage and create spatial databases. The aerial photographs, satellite imagery, paper maps, or surveyed data, of varying scales and quality are digitized using the latest technologies and best-of-breed equipments, thus ensuring accuracy and quality in the final output.
GIS generated maps find a range of advantages like quick access and analysis of information and statistics and easy comparison of data for different pipelines and topography.
