Hackensack Jeep dealer says some Jeeps will get a new engine
We can keep our big utility vehicles, and it's a good thing, too. Over the past few years, we have been watching the dynamic in the auto industry shift heavily in favor of smaller, more fuel efficient cars. Ever since automakers were destroyed by the recession and had to build themselves back up, they have been only too eager to please in terms of meeting the market's demands. That has ultimately contributed heavily to the industry's sudden disinterest in SUVs and other kinds of utility vehicles; where the general consumer seemed much more interested in these vehicles in the past, they really only have garnered interest from people with practical uses for them as of late. But, as your Hackensack Jeep dealership is gearing up to prove, Jeep is planning for the future with a big announcement.
The Phoenix, which now appears to have some rebranding in Pentastar, will become one of the most powerful and fuel efficient blends of Jeep engine technology to hit the market. The 3.6-liter engine, expected to debut with the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee when it launches at your Bayonne Jeep dealership, puts out a solid 280 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. These numbers represent a 22 percent and 11 percent jump, respectively. And your Hackensack Jeep dealership is getting pretty excited to house this spectacular new vehicle with an engine that puts out like this one. There is a lot to be said about a brand that refuses to quit, and Chrysler is doing a fantastic job ensuring that Jeep holds true to that promise.
The new Pentastar engine is entirely aluminum with 60 degrees and dual overhead cam with variable valve timing. According to Chrysler, we're going to be getting a good look at this engine at your Bayonne Jeep dealership in the near future – and we're going to be looking at it a lot. The engine is already slotted to replace seven current V6 engines, which serves as big news for the Jeep lineup and your Hackensack Jeep dealership. One of the most important parts of the new Pentastar engine, however, has yet to be mentioned. I'm of course talking about the 11 percent improvement in fuel efficiency that will come along with the implementation of this fantastic new engine, which will soon be test-worthy at your Bayonne Jeep dealership.
